IP values libraries as a key partner in getting out our titles to our audiences.

Where possible, we prefer to develop a personal relationship with you. Over the years, most of our libraries have come to recognise the consistent quality of our titles. They trust us to publish only the best work coming out of Australia from established and emerging authors. They also recognise the high production standards we have and the effort we put into making our titles as visually appealing as possible — a key factor in encouraging readers to pick out our titles from the others on a library shelf!

As a result, IP is one of the most successful independent publishers in Australia in getting our titles into libraries.

Libraries have two options for ordering from us. We of course prefer that you order directly. We guarantee shipment within five working days of receiving your order. And we now offer generous discounts to libraries who order online (see below).

We also supply stock to all the major library suppliers. We regularly update our upcoming and new releases on the major databases such as Bowkerlink and Bookdata.

Subscription Orders

You now have the option of maintaining a Standing Order for IP titles. IP releases most of its titles in two Seasons: Autumn (May) and Spring (October).

Here are the benefits of subscribing:

We will ship all new titles to you within five working days of their official release.

We will include fliers on the new title that you can use to promote them in your library.

We will discount the price of the new titles by 10% and ship them to you free.

You can order extra copies of particular titles after you receive the initial shipment. The same benefits apply. This includes quantities that book groups associated with your library might want to order.

All new titles are conditionally guaranteed. You can return them to us within twenty working days of receiving them for a full credit on your account.

You can unsubscribe at any time, but you must do so in writing at least one month before our next Season list is released.

To subscribe, simply email us, with Library Subscription as your Subject. We will send you a Subscription Form to get things underway.

One-off Specials

We offer libraries special discounts on titles from our backlist. The less recent the title, the bigger the discount. The more you order, the bigger the discount. Email us your list of titles and we will let you know what discount will apply.

You can even order multiple copies on behalf of book groups associated with your library.

The list of specials will be updated at the same time as a new issue of IP eNews is released. If you are not a subscriber to eNews now, this is a good way to know when the new specials will be posted. Email us with Subscribe eNews as your Subject to be the first to know.
